John Herrguth, retirement mortgage specialist & CFP® professional with 20+ years of experience in financial services guiding clients’ fiscal well-being. A Sonoma County native and Napa Valley resident passionate about helping people mitigate post-retirement risks and achieve economic peace of mind.  He is a versatile professional with a diverse background spanning winemaking, financial planning, sales, and education.

John's career also includes international experience as an English Language Trainer in Berlin, Germany, and roles in business development at Bank of America and Schenk Filter Systems. He co-founded JHB & Partners, a business consulting firm, and has a strong foundation in mortgage brokerage and commercial real estate finance.

He holds a Wine Entrepreneurship Certificate from Sonoma State University, a Personal Financial Planning Certificate from UC Berkeley, and a B.A. in Social Science/International Political Economy from UC Berkeley, and speaks German. This extensive experience and education make him a dynamic and accomplished professional.
